The Micro Business Incubator (MBI) is an innovative, award- winning economic development program that provides resources, training, and support to Albany Avenue small businesses. Entrepreneurs from Upper Albany work together with University of Hartford students to build management skills and improve operational efficiencies.

Design Committee

The UAMS Design Committee convenes monthly to organize officials involved in the Route 44 Safety Improvement Project and other projects that affect the historic commercial district. The Design Committee provides an opportunity for Albany Avenue merchants, residents, and stakeholders to provide input on a regular basis.
