Joanies Restaurant was founded in March 2014 and is quickly becoming a staple on Albany Avenue. The business is open from 7am to 11pm each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Vivian Akuoko of Evay Cosmetics, LLC was nominated on behalf of Marilyn Risi & Upper Albany Main Street for Business Owner of The Year award. Throughout the past year, Mrs. Akuoko has focused her time growing her business to international levels, giving back to the community, and assisting students with the Micro Business Incubator. Evay Cosmetics was founded in 1987 on Albany Avenue and has been an iconic business since. Upper Albany Main Street has officially launched their Facade Improvement Program which will add a much needed visual look to the Avenue.
