Wednesday, October 15th, 2015 from 5 – 6 pm, the City of Hartford Department of Development Services will be hosting the re-launch of the Route 44 Safety Improvement & Streetscape Project. The meeting will be held in the community room of the Handel Preforming Arts Center on Albany Avenue. We encourage all merchants and interested people to attend the meeting.
On Friday October 10th, 2014, Governor Dan Malloy made a stop at Scott’s Jamaican Bakery while he campaigned for reelection. A large crowd gathered at around 1:30pm for the Governors arrival. Governor Malloy discussed issues such as increasing the minimum wage and tax issues among Hartford residents.
